Warm vibes, swing bars, the watermelon game ("slurp"), beach volleyball, and an overall destination wedding that everyone who attended will NEVER forget... is how we would describe this wedding week at the Bahia Principe Akumal Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Jenn & Ian were wonders in front of the camera as they have had lots of practice with us earlier in the year at their cherry blossom engagement shoot in Brampton.
We started off the week in Mexico with a casual shoot, slurping some icy drinks, looking out into the tropic waters, hitting the resort casino, and enjoying several fun activities with their attending and super welcoming guests. This set a wonderful mood for their wedding day, which took place on our last date before our departure back to Toronto. A beachfront wedding ceremony, tasty Mexican food, a photoshoot through the toasty white sands, and a party on the beach with an LED dance floor all made for unforgettable memories. It was of course tiring leaving the resort just a few hours later at 4am after their wedding reception but we are incredibly humbled to have had the privilege to attend and leave with amazing video/photo content that Jenn & Ian can look back on and share for years to come.
