Anita & Dave, like most couples, booked with us far in advance to secure their spot for amazing wedding photo and video coverage. This of course gave us a lot of time to get to know them throughout their planning process and engagement photo session - which is always a good thing 👍🏼
With some unfortunate rescheduling due to covid, what would have been an April 2020 wedding ended up taking place in the coming Fall season...and honestly...it made no difference in how amazing it all looked.
We started off their wedding production by capturing the pre wedding rituals in their homes with a small group of attendees. The following day was a big one due to the official Hindu ceremony taking place in Versailles Convention centre and an after party taking place the same evening. We even managed to whip out a crazy Same Day Edit video to be played the same night for their friends and family. A perk to adding a same day video edit to your package is the fact that you instantly have a short film ready and available while waiting for the full version to be editted.
Now, the interesting thing about Anita & Dave's formal portrait session is that it took place in their own neighbourhood. We did not attend any fancy parks or architectural buildings and still made it work! Just take a look for yourself in the samples images below :)
Finally, the last and final day to conclude this week long celebration occurred in the couple's spacious backyard, where friends, family, and even a food truck attended! A special first dance song was performed by Tony James, which will be incorporated into their full length wedding film. Among all the entertainment and great food, guests were kept busy with drinks and our interactive photobooth set up in the backyard. It made for great prints and fun digital photos sent to mobile device as keepsakes from the week long wedding.
